About Ten Lakes Center

Ten Lakes Center is located on the third floor of Twin City Hospital, 819 N. First Street, Dennison, OH.

Our 14-bed hospital is designed for adult patients and is the first
geriatric mental health center in Tuscarawas County to provide acute hospitalization for those requiring in-patient stabilization and treatment for mental illness.

Admission criteria can include:

- Severe depression
- Sudden onset or worsening of confusion, disorientation or memory loss
- Sudden onset of hallucinations, delusions, or paranoia
- Noncompliance with prescribed medications
- Potential danger to self or others
- Problems in coping with stressful situations
- Sudden change in ability to attend to normal daily activities

Ten Lakes Center is licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

The center’s Medical Director is Javedul Haque, M.D./Psychiatrist.
