Our Values
Family: We celebrate the family and seek to provide
an anchor for them as they deal with the storms of life, aging and
mental illness in a loved ones’ life.
Service: We provide short-term
acute geriatric mental health services for residents of Tuscarawas
County and the surrounding area and seek to
become an integral part of the continuum of care available to meet
the episodic mental health needs of the aging population.
Outcomes: We measure our services
clinically against written criteria for quality care. We measure
our success personally and professionally based on the satisfaction
of the patient, families, and community we serve.
Ethics: Ten Lakes Center is grounded
in personal and professional ethics and will meet community needs
in an efficient and cost effective manner.
Easy Access and Caring Staff: Mental illness can be overwhelming.
Families and caregivers need support that is immediately available
and provided by caring, professionally trained staff in a therapeutic
environment. We provide those services at Ten Lakes Center with openness
and the desire to serve.
Educate and Train: We provide treatment and cognitive training skills
for patients, based on individual needs for training and support.
We are aware that the disease process is progressive and requires
on-going education to meet changing needs.
Altruism: Aftercare and outreach to families and communities in
Tuscarawas County is essential. We take the role of a servant to
our communities and volunteer with other service agencies to address
community and family needs.
